Site Engineer – Major Civils

Enable Resourcing is recruiting for a Site Engineer – Major Civils to join a leading civil engineering contractor delivering complex infrastructure works across Central London.

This role will involve a combination of site and office-based responsibilities, supporting the successful delivery of major civils packages across high-profile projects.

You will play a key role in ensuring works are set out accurately, delivered safely and executed in accordance with design and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

As Site Engineer, you will support daily engineering activities across civil engineering works.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Setting out and surveying works on site

• Reviewing drawings and specifications

• Ensuring works are delivered in line with design requirements

• Supporting technical problem solving on site

• Monitoring progress and quality standards

• Maintaining site records and documentation

• Completing as-built surveys and drawings

• Supporting inspections and testing regimes

• Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures

• Assisting with temporary works coordination

• Supporting materials scheduling and subcontractor coordination

• Contributing to technical reporting and programme delivery

You will work closely with Project Managers, Senior Engineers and Site Teams to ensure safe, efficient and structured project delivery.

About You

To be considered, you will have:

• Experience working as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or infrastructure projects

• Strong setting out and surveying capability

• Good understanding of civil engineering construction methods

• Ability to work within a fast-paced London project environment

Desirable:

• Civil Engineering qualification

• SMSTS or SSSTS

Required:

• CSCS card

You will be technically confident, organised and capable of supporting delivery across complex civils packages.
