Enable Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Manager – Groundworks / Infrastructure to oversee delivery across projects along the M3 / M4 corridor.
This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Project Manager with a background in groundworks or civil engineering to join a contractor delivering major schemes within a busy and active region. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking control of project delivery, coordinating site teams, managing client expectations, and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to the required quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day delivery of infrastructure and groundworks packages
- Lead site teams, subcontractors, and operational planning across live works
- Manage programme performance, progress reporting, and delivery milestones
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements
- Work closely with clients and stakeholders to maintain strong communication and trust
- Monitor project risks and implement practical mitigation measures
- Coordinate with commercial and engineering teams to support overall project objectives
- Drive consistent delivery performance across all stages of the project lifecycle
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Project Manager in groundworks, civils, or infrastructure
- Strong operational leadership and site coordination skills
- Good understanding of programme management and project delivery controls
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and maintain delivery focus
- Commercial awareness and strong problem-solving ability
- Relevant site qualifications would be beneficial
