Enable Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Contracts Manager – Groundworks based around Rickmansworth.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee multiple groundworks projects and provide leadership across operational delivery. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing project teams, ensuring standards are maintained, and supporting programme, client, and commercial performance across a number of active sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple groundworks projects across the region
- Support project managers and site teams to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery
- Monitor programme performance, resources, and operational coordination across live works
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards
- Maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders
- Assist with issue resolution, project planning, and overall delivery performance
- Work alongside commercial teams to support cost control and project profitability
- Help drive standards, accountability, and operational consistency across the portfolio
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Contracts Manager within groundworks, civils, or infrastructure
- Strong operational leadership and multi-site management experience
- Good understanding of programme, client management, and delivery controls
- Commercial awareness and ability to support project performance across several jobs
- Strong communication and team management skills
- Relevant site and management qualifications would be beneficial
