BCM APPOINTED AS ‘BUILDINGS FABRIC SPECIALIST’ PART OF THE SOUTHERN BUILDING AND CIVILS (SBC) FRAMEWORK FOR NETWORK RAIL

As a leading UK Principal Contractor for infrastructure projects across the Rail, Highways and Utility sectors, Enable Infrastructure (formerly known as BCM Construction Ltd) has been successful in securing a position on the Southern Building and Civils (SBC) Framework with Network Rail’s Southern Capital Delivery.

As well as a general building and civils lot, the framework is broken down into seven specialist lots covering  M&E, station canopy and platforms, footbridges, metallic structures, earthworks, and masonry and concrete structures.

Following a highly contested tender, we have been appointed as a supplier on our chosen lot ‘Buildings Fabric Specialist’. Works will generally consist of station modifications and upgrades with regards to platform alterations, building works and canopies along with other NR Buildings assets.

The framework will run for an initial three years, with the option to extend by five further one-year extensions. The geographical reach of the framework spans Kent in the east to Devon in the West, and there is the potential for works to be extended to other parts of the UK network if required.
